GoodLeap, a U.S.-based fintech specializing in technology-driven financing for sustainable home solutions, has closed a $523 million securitization tied to its latest product, the GoodLeap Home Improvement Solutions Trust 2025-3.
The platform enables financial institutions to efficiently deploy capital into home improvement and energy efficiency loans through data-driven underwriting and streamlined digital workflows. GoodLeap partners with banks, credit unions, insurance companies, and asset managers to originate and distribute these loans.
This securitization marks GoodLeap’s fourth transaction backed exclusively by home improvement loans. Bank of America, N.A. sponsored the deal, with BofA Securities acting as sole structuring agent. The trust is supported by $571 million in principal balance of loans originated by GoodLeap and received ratings from Kroll Bond Rating Agency. Goldman Sachs, CIBC Capital Markets, and Citigroup served as joint bookrunners.
GoodLeap notes that sustainable home upgrades represent an estimated $450 billion annual market opportunity in the U.S., highlighting strong demand for financing solutions in this sector. Since 2018, the company has facilitated over $32 billion in solar and home efficiency loans, helping more than 1 million homeowners reduce their carbon footprint.
In addition to its commercial activities, GoodLeap supports its nonprofit initiative, GivePower, which develops water and clean electricity systems for communities across Africa, Asia, and South America, impacting over 2 million people.
