The real estate market in Kuwait witnessed strong activity during the first two weeks of last March, despite ongoing geopolitical tensions in the region. According to the Ministry of Justice, contracts were recorded with a total value of approximately KWD 88.43 million, distributed across 164 transactions, indicating continued market momentum despite a cautious outlook.
The residential sector captured the largest share of transactions, accounting for 76.8% of the total deals with 126 transactions valued at KWD 48.13 million, representing 54.4% of the overall value. This reflects stable demand for housing despite geopolitical challenges. Meanwhile, the investment sector recorded 36 transactions worth KWD 32.29 million, while the warehouse sector was limited to just two deals with a total value of KWD 8 million.
In terms of house trading, 62 transactions were recorded with a total value of KWD 24.13 million, representing 37.8% of the overall market. The Capital Governorate led in terms of value with KWD 6.59 million across 11 transactions, followed by the Jahra Governorate with 15 deals worth KWD 4.69 million and the Ahmadi Governorate with 15 transactions valued at KWD 4.14 million.

Hawalli recorded 5 transactions worth KWD 3.7 million, while Farwaniya saw 11 deals totaling KWD 3.3 million. The period also featured several high-value home transactions exceeding KWD 1 million. Most notably, the sale of a house in Abdullah Al-Salem with an area of 752.5 square meters for KWD 1.57 million, making it the highest-value deal during this period.
Other transactions included the sale of a house in Al-Rawdah with an area of 750 square meters for KWD 1.05 million and another in Khaldiya valued at KWD 1 million for an area of 362.5 square meters. In Jabriya, located in Hawalli Governorate, a house was sold for KWD 1.15 million with a total area of 800 square meters.
Residential land also attracted significant attention, with 53 transactions totaling KWD 21.13 million. Hawalli Governorate dominated this segment, accounting for 71.7% of total land transactions with 38 deals valued at KWD 16 million. It was followed by Ahmadi Governorate with 11 transactions worth KWD 2.7 million and Mubarak Al-Kabeer with 4 deals totaling KWD 2.4 million.
