Saudi Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, Majed Al-Hogail, inaugurated the 35th edition of the Restatex Riyadh Real Estate Exhibition 2026 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event witnessed broad participation from government entities, real estate development companies, and investors.
The minister emphasized that the exhibition has become a key platform reflecting the development of the Kingdom’s real estate sector, highlighting its role in strengthening the market, boosting investor confidence, and demonstrating its ability to adapt to changes while achieving development goals.
He also stressed the qualitative transformations taking place in the sector and the importance of regulations and legislation in enabling growth, in addition to the value of partnership between the public and private sectors.
He explained that efforts made in recent years have enhanced the regulatory environment and helped transform ambitions into tangible projects, noting the focus on innovation in green buildings and smart cities to improve the quality of life and sustainability.
He also announced the development of the “Etmam” center to provide digital services for developers and streamline procedures, thereby enhancing investment attractiveness.
The minister concluded by praising the strong support provided to the real estate sector and its role in achieving urban development and creating more prosperous cities. The exhibition will be held from February 11 to 14, 2026, and will feature the launch of the PropNext Forum to discuss legislation, financing tools, and the future outlook of real estate development.
