Chris Lambrou formally assumed the role of chief executive officer at Multiple Listing Service Inc. (Metro MLS) in April 2025, following nearly ten years with the organization. After initially serving in an interim capacity, Lambrou delivered stability, reinforced key relationships, and helped position Metro MLS for long-term growth, according to Metro MLS Chairman Joe Horning.
Lambrou joined Metro MLS in 2016 as chief information officer, where he led major modernization initiatives. He has also played a role in advancing technology efforts at MLS Aligned and remains actively involved with the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
In a statement, Lambrou commended the Metro MLS team for its “talent and dedication,” saying he looks forward to building on the organization’s momentum, advancing innovation, and continuing to deliver strong value to members and the wider real estate community. He added that he is eager to work closely with stakeholders to further the organization’s mission, encourage collaboration, and help shape the future of MLS innovation nationwide.
REIN announces 2026 board of directors
The Real Estate Information Network, Inc. (REIN) has introduced its board of directors for 2026. John Chandler, principal broker at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices RW Towne Property Management, will take on the role of board president, succeeding Barbara Wolcott.
The 2026 Executive Committee will also include Vice President Lee Cross, managing broker at Cross Realty; Secretary Cavelle Mollineaux, principal broker at ONYX Realty Professionals; and Treasurer Jon McAchran, principal broker at AtCoastal Real Estate.
Additional directors appointed for 2026 are Amy Doll, principal broker at REMAX Alliance; Mike Grogan, vice president and regional manager at Howard Hanna Real Estate Services’ Central Atlantic Region; Donna Moyer, principal broker at Liz Moore & Associates; Barry Nachman, principal broker at Century 21 Nachman Realty; and Nash Wainwright, principal broker at Wainwright Real Estate.
Chandler said the board remains focused on supporting REIN members and helping them achieve their professional goals, noting that all decisions are made with that purpose in mind.

Southwest MLS partners with Property Shield
Southwest MLS (SWMLS), which serves approximately 4,300 real estate professionals in the Albuquerque, New Mexico, area, has entered into a partnership with fraud detection platform Property Shield. The service will be provided to members at no cost and is designed to help prevent fraudulent listings and rental scams.
Property Shield CEO Alex Fahsel said the collaboration reflects SWMLS’s forward-looking approach to market protection and will help agents safeguard their professional reputations while protecting consumers from increasingly complex fraud schemes.
Teri Hatcher, SWMLS president for 2026, said the partnership highlights the organization’s commitment to protecting both members and consumers, adding that SWMLS is proud to take a leadership role in consumer protection in the Albuquerque market.
With SWMLS joining its network, Property Shield reported that it now supports more than 90,000 real estate professionals across the United States.
ORRA introduces new healthcare benefits for members
The Orlando Regional Realtor Association (ORRA) has partnered with PeopleOne Health to provide healthcare benefits to its more than 18,000 members in central Florida. ORRA said the new offering is designed to better support agents by helping them maintain their health while continuing to serve clients and communities.
ORRA President Lawrence Bellido said the partnership reflects the association’s values, emphasizing that when Realtors feel healthy and supported, their businesses and relationships can grow, and their overall impact can expand.
PeopleOne Health CEO Jordan Taradash noted that Realtors work hard for others and deserve healthcare coverage that supports their own well-being. Through the partnership, he said, agents can remain healthy, resilient, and focused without neglecting their personal health.
According to the release, PeopleOne Health’s plans cover most healthcare expenses typically incurred in a year. ORRA members interested in the new healthcare options are now able to enroll.
