The real estate trading index recorded its highest annual transaction value during the fourth quarter of 2025, reaching a total of QAR 6.36 billion across 1,557 deals, compared with QAR 3.7 billion and 962 transactions in 2024.
The most active municipalities in terms of transaction value were:
Doha: QAR 2.37 billion
Al Rayyan: QAR 1.86 billion
Al Wakrah: QAR 755 million
In terms of the number of properties sold in 2025:
Doha: 27%
Al Rayyan: 26%
Al Wakrah: 17%
Regarding the total area of transactions:
Al Rayyan: 32%
Doha: 26%
Al Wakrah: 14%
In 2024, Doha, Al Rayyan, and Al Daayen were the most active municipalities in terms of both value and number of transactions, although at relatively lower levels. Al Rayyan maintained first place in terms of transaction area with a 32% share, followed by Doha and Al Daayen.
