The Real Estate General Authority announced the launch of title deed registration activities in the Al Madinah Al Munawwarah region, covering one land parcel within part of the Bani Abdul Ashhal District neighborhood, starting Sunday, February 22, and continuing until the end of Thursday, May 28, 2026.
In its statement, the Authority explained that the selection of this neighborhood was based on specific criteria, confirming that additional regions, governorates, and districts across the Kingdom will be announced later as part of the upcoming phases of the real estate title registration program.
The Authority also confirmed that initial property registration in these areas will be available through the electronic Real Estate Registry platform at https://rer.sa/, or via approved service centers. It emphasized the necessity of having a title deed that fulfills all legal requirements to complete the registration process.
Property owners within the designated areas were urged to review their title deeds and ensure all required conditions are met in preparation for registration. The Authority noted that inquiries regarding registration steps can be made through its official communication channels or by contacting the customer service center at 199002.
Alongside the launch of the registration process, a “Property Number” and an official ownership registration deed will be issued for each registered unit. The deed will include detailed property information such as descriptions, condition, associated rights and obligations, as well as precise geospatial data.
This step aims to strengthen infrastructure, ensure sustainability in the real estate sector, improve reliability, and enhance transparency across this vital industry.
