The General Authority for Real Estate announced the imminent end of the first in-kind registration period for 26,210 plots in Riyadh, 160,113 in the Northern Borders, 148,188 in Tabuk, and 199,161 in Al-Jawf, which will conclude on Thursday, 7 Shawwal 1447, corresponding to March 26, 2026.
The authority urged property owners in these regions to expedite their registration via the Real Estate Registry platform (rer.sa) before the deadline to benefit from property transaction services and to document any changes to their properties.
It explained that the real estate registry will issue a “Property Number” and a title deed for each registered unit, including precise geographic location, ownership details, and rights and obligations, which enhances the real estate sector and provides a documented and permanent registry.

The authority emphasized that failure to register within the specified timeframe will expose owners to financial penalties determined by a specialized committee, although registration requests in the designated areas will continue to be accepted after the deadline.
It is worth noting that the National Company for In-Kind Registration Services manages the real estate registry using modern technologies and a digital platform that enhances transparency and confidence in real estate services.
