The Real Estate Registry announced on Sunday the launch of receiving applications for the initial title registration of approximately 14,750 properties in the Makkah Region. The registration includes neighborhoods in Jeddah Governorate, such as Al Rayan District, and parts of Al Salamah, Al Khalidiyah, Al Qouzain, and Al Wadi.
The Real Estate Registry stated in its announcement the importance of property owners in these neighborhoods registering their properties before the end of Thursday, July 2, 2026. It also encouraged owners to use the Real Estate Registry platform (rer.sa) or the Real Estate Registry mobile application.
The statement emphasized the importance of registering properties within the specified period to benefit from the registry’s services, facilitate real estate transactions, and avoid fines and penalties imposed under the Real Estate Title Registration System. The Real Estate Registry added that it continues its efforts to register properties in targeted areas to enhance reliability and transparency by creating a comprehensive database of property information across the Kingdom.

The Real Estate Registry also plans to issue a “Property Number” and a title deed for each registered property unit. The new deed will include the precise geographic location, owner information, property descriptions, its condition, and the associated rights and obligations. This aims to strengthen property ownership documentation, protect real estate rights, and enhance sustainability within the sector.
Real estate areas are classified according to specific criteria under the supervision of the Real Estate General Authority, as the competent authority in accordance with Council of Ministers decisions and the provisions of the Real Estate Title Registration Law.
The National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (Real Estate Registry) is responsible for managing and developing the registry using modern technologies and geospatial data to support transparency and credibility in real estate data and services through an integrated digital platform.
