Saudi Arabia: Approval of 75 Urban Plans in Jazan to Boost Development and Serve Residents

The Jazan Region Municipality in Saudi Arabia has approved 75 new urban plans across several cities and governorates in the region, covering a total area exceeding 4 million square meters. This step comes as part of its ongoing efforts to organize urban development and provide an integrated urban environment.

Jazan Mayor Eng. Yahya Al-Ghazwani stated that these plans include 3,716 plots designated for residential and commercial use, in addition to the establishment of 54 parks and 92 government facilities. These initiatives are expected to improve the quality of life, meet residents’ needs, and enhance the efficiency of municipal services.

He emphasized that this move is part of the municipality’s continued strategy to meet the growing demand for land, support balanced urban growth, encourage investment, and achieve sustainable urban development goals in the region, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
