The Real Estate Registry announced the start of accepting first-time property registration applications for a total of 14,750 properties in the Makkah region, distributed across several neighborhoods of Jeddah. This initiative aims to enhance the reliability of real estate data and achieve greater transparency in the property market.
The neighborhoods included in the registration process in Jeddah are Al-Rayan District and parts of Al-Salama, Al-Khalidiyah, Al-Qouzin, and Al-Wadi districts. The authority urged property owners in these areas to submit their registration applications promptly before the deadline of Thursday, July 2, 2026.
The relevant authorities clarified that the registration process is available electronically via the official platform (rer.sa) or through the Real Estate Registry app. Additionally, a customer service center has been made available for support or clarification regarding the required procedures.

Adhering to Deadlines to Avoid Fines
The Real Estate Registry emphasized the importance of adhering to the specified registration period, noting that registering properties enables owners to benefit from real estate services and complete transactions smoothly, in addition to avoiding fines and penalties stipulated by the real estate property registration system.
It added that each registered property will receive a unique “Property Number” and a new ownership deed containing all essential details such as the precise geographic location, owner information, property description, rights, and obligations, along with a comprehensive record of all related property transactions.
Towards Developing a Unified Real Estate Registry
This initiative comes as part of the efforts by the General Authority for Real Estate to build a unified and comprehensive real estate registry across the Kingdom. It aims to strengthen trust in the real estate sector and keep pace with digital developments.
The project is being implemented by the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services, using advanced technologies that rely on geospatial data and modern digital platforms.
This phase is expected to contribute to more accurate documentation of property rights, supporting the continuous growth of the sector and increasing its attractiveness for future investments.
