The American Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Real Estate Conference: Three Panel Sessions with Senior Policymakers and Developers

The American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt organized its annual real estate conference on Tuesday under the title “Egypt’s Renaissance: Real Estate as a Leading Regional Power.”

The conference, hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, aims to bring together senior decision-makers, innovative developers, and global investors to explore the future of Egypt’s promising real estate sector.

The event focuses on highlighting Egypt’s position as a leading regional power in real estate investment, property exports, and coastal destination development by showcasing current achievements and future visions.

Held over one day, the conference addresses comprehensive issues, including new financing strategies, updating regulatory frameworks, and the role of digital transformation in reshaping the sector, with an emphasis on strengthening Egypt’s role as a key gateway to regional and international real estate investment opportunities.

The event opened with welcome remarks by Ms. Silvia Minassa, Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, and Mr. Mohamed Abdallah, Chairman of the Chamber’s Real Estate Committee and Chairman of the Board of Coldwell Banker.

The conference included three key panel sessions. The first session began with a discussion of the tourism real estate sector, reviewing ways to support local economies by attracting more investments, increasing spending, and developing distinctive resorts and attractions that offer exceptional tourism experiences.

The second session focused on shaping growth in the real estate sector under the title “Opportunities and Regulatory Strategies,” and addressed the latest regulatory developments supporting Egypt’s real estate market, in addition to discussing innovative financing solutions to achieve sustainable growth in the sector.

The third session included a keynote speech and a panel discussion centered on Egypt’s real estate investment market. The session discussed the investment climate and encouraging policies for attracting foreign direct investment, Egypt’s position on the global real estate map, and the role of public–private partnerships in accelerating development and attracting strategic partners locally and internationally.
