The Brokerage Sector Strengthens Its Role as a Key Driver of Market Growth in Dubai in 2025

The real estate brokerage sector in Dubai witnessed significant transformations during 2025, reinforcing its position as a fundamental element in regulating the market and driving the real estate economy forward.

This development was fueled by the strong activity in the market and the growing number of brokers, whose performance improved thanks to enhanced regulatory efficiency and higher standards of service quality.

According to statistics from the Dubai Land Department, the value of real estate brokerage commissions in 2025 reached approximately 13.59 billion UAE dirhams, marking a 31% increase compared to 2024.

This growth was accompanied by a 54% rise in the number of transactions completed through brokers, reaching 96,440 deals, reflecting the importance of real estate brokerage in facilitating transactions and improving overall market efficiency. Women’s participation in the sector also stood out significantly, with the number of deals completed by female brokers increasing by 49%, reaching 28,909 transactions.

Meanwhile, the total value of their commissions grew by 83% to reach 2.98 billion UAE dirhams. This shift highlights the growing role of women in the real estate sector and their success in establishing a strong presence within a balanced and supportive professional environment.

The figures also reveal a broader professional participation base, as the number of women working in the field reached 11,371 out of a total of 32,294 registered brokers by the end of 2025. This reality underscores the sector’s attractiveness to diverse talents and its role in promoting professionalism and discipline through clear regulatory frameworks and strict licensing requirements.

In terms of overall growth, the number of new real estate brokers reached 13,083 registered individuals, representing a 38% increase compared to the previous year. The sector also experienced steady expansion in the number of registered brokerage offices, which reached 9,785, reflecting a balanced model that combines expansion with high service standards.
