The Real Estate General Authority announced that the deadline for the initial real estate registration of 254,155 properties in the regions of Riyadh, Qassim, Makkah, and Hail will end on Thursday, 23 Ramadan 1447 AH (March 12, 2026). The authority urged property owners to complete their registration procedures through the approved platforms to secure their rights and update their real estate data in accordance with the system.
In the Riyadh region, the deadline covers 146 neighborhoods distributed across several governorates, including Dhurma, which includes districts such as Al-Ma’arid, Al-Andalus, and Tuwaiq, in addition to Marat and other neighborhoods. The deadline also applies to governorates such as Al-Quwayiyah, Al-Zulfi, Rumah, and Huraymila, as well as areas in Al-Rayn, Afif, and others.
In Qassim, the deadline applies to neighborhoods in the governorates of Al-Mithnab, Al-Asyah, Al-Shamasiyah, and Al-Bukayriyah. In Makkah, it includes plans and neighborhoods such as Rawabi Al-Husseiniyah, Umm Al-Joud, Al-Salamah, and Al-Buhairat.
The real estate registration system is considered a cornerstone of the modern real estate framework in Saudi Arabia, as it contributes to electronically documenting property rights, strengthening legal security, and reducing disputes. The authority stressed the importance of property owners completing the registration process within the specified deadline.
