UAE Investors Explore Real Estate Investment Opportunities in Georgia During the “Invest in Georgia” Forum in Tbilisi

The Georgian capital, Tbilisi, is welcoming a delegation of investors from the United Arab Emirates as part of the third investment forum organized by the Invest in Georgia initiative. The event aims to strengthen trade relations between the two countries and attract foreign investment into the Georgian market.

The forum brings together a diverse group of Emirati investors, brokerage firms, and real estate sector experts, alongside leading Georgian real estate companies such as Metropol, Biograph Living, VR Holdings, Redco, and Astoria. TBC Capital is also participating, presenting market trends and analytical insights on Georgia’s real estate sector during the event.

For her part, Tiona Bozaladze, co-founding partner of the “Invest in Georgia UAE” initiative, explained that visiting investors are primarily focused on opportunities within residential and commercial real estate. She noted that delegates are particularly interested in gaining accurate knowledge about investment conditions, expected returns, and the prevailing regulatory framework.

Bozaladze emphasized that the absence of an investment cap in Georgia enhances market flexibility and attractiveness, describing the “Invest in Georgia” initiative as the key intermediary connecting Emirati investors with promising investment opportunities across the country.

She also highlighted the growing interest among international brokers in Georgia as an alternative investment destination. Strong attention is being directed toward sectors such as hotels, casinos, and large joint ventures, alongside increasing exploration of partnerships for land development and other real estate assets.

The forum mainly focuses on the quality of discussions and engagement rather than the number of attendees. Each session accommodates only 50 to 60 investors, creating a more private environment for exchanging ideas and building strategic business relationships.

Previous editions of the forum reportedly attracted significant interest from specialized brokerage firms capable of achieving annual sales valued at up to $150 million.
