Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly affirmed on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the importance of the real estate development and construction sectors, describing them as key drivers of economic growth and employment generation.
During a meeting held at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, Madbouly reviewed the findings and outcomes presented by the Advisory Committee for Urban Development.

He noted that current economic indicators are encouraging and stressed his commitment to supporting this vital sector, which the government views as a locomotive for many related industries.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the priority of real estate exports—namely, selling national properties to foreign buyers—as a strategic tool to attract foreign currency inflows. He announced government efforts to expand the number of cities included on the digital real estate export platform, in addition to working on activating a unified national property identification number, aimed at enhancing transparency and increasing confidence among foreign investors.
Members of the advisory committee highlighted significant growth in the construction sector and called for the need to increase the supply of raw materials to keep pace with the ongoing expansion in this field.
